HEAD COACH
Marc Dellenbach
A former top-level sportsman, he coached the French Olympic team from 2002 to 2017, then the German team from 2018 to 2023.
He took part in 5 Olympic Games, winning numerous titles and international medals.
He recently led the German senior women's classical bow team to a European title in Munich in 2022 and a historic world title in Berlin in 2023.
“After my experience in France and Germany, I think it's the right time for me to start sharing my experience with everyone, rather than just one country. The aim of this center is to be the reference for the global archery community, hosting the best teams, producing content and sharing knowledge with archers around the world.”
COACH
Howard Catherine
Passionate about archery since childhood, he has practiced archery in competition for over 15 years.
Since 1995, he has been a coach in France, with a 2nd degree diploma, and has trained many talented national and international archers.
He loves competition and is an Olympic shooting specialist with a particular affinity for bow tuning.
He joined the WAEC team in January 2023, where he is responsible for training members and monitoring the training of young archers.
He also welcomes athletes from all over the world as part of our “Academy” program, enabling them to optimize their skills in all aspects of performance.
Since his arrival, he has had the opportunity to train and coach archers on “Olympic Solidarity” scholarships to optimize their potential right up to the Olympic Games.
His aim as a coach is to enable archers to reach their full potential by creating an environment in which they can flourish.
COACH
Daniel Kockel
He discovered archery during a stay in Africa, where he later took up competitive archery. He became passionate about the sport during his mission to the World Championships in Copenhagen in 2015, where he accompanied the Moroccan national team.
At WAEC, he is particularly keen on introductory shooting to pass on his passion and organize competitions.
In addition to having acquired World Archery coaching levels, he is, as of this year, a national judge while maintaining sports studies to be able to help archers better reach their full potential by helping with the mental game.
