Passes and Access conditions

The following charter applies to all passes and access section services and below is also specific conditions to each type of pass. For the avoidance of doubt, the English version will be used. Centre management reserves the right to update the conditions at any time. Any update will be communicated to people with a pass reservation. Clients retain the right to cancel their purchase (without penalty) if they do not wish to comply with an update of the conditions.

General conditions:

  • Passes and Accesses can be purchased on the website up to 72 hours before.

  • Passes and Accesses can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the reservation start, through the webpage, and receiving a full refund.

  • Cancellations with less than a 48-hour notice or no-show are not eligible for a refund.

  • Purchasing a Pass or an Access does not give the rights of a membership.

  • Purchasing a Pass or an Access acts as an agreement to comply with these conditions, and to comply with the operating and safety rules of the World Archery Excellence Centre, Swiss Archery and World Archery.

  • The security of the World Archery Excellence Centre is the responsibility of all its users, including clients with a Pass or an Access.

  • If purchasing a Pass or an Access, the first visit must be scheduled during the opening hours of the reception.

  • Passes and Access owners are prohibited from touching other Centre users’ equipment and personal belongings.  

  • Passes and Access owners are prohibited from coaching (or giving advice) to other Centre users, including other archers and gym users, without the prior agreement of the duty coach. There's an exception to this rule for Coach Day-Use Access owners, see below.

  • The World Archery Excellence Centre leaves the right to refuse the purchase of Passes or Accesses in case of doubt of the eligibility of the client, due to client previously breaking the conditions or the activities of the Centre being too busy on a specific period.
     

Gym Pass (monthly):

  • Available only for clients 18 years old and above.

  • It includes the use of gym, changing rooms and bathrooms. Sauna or other spaces in the facility are not included.

  • The Gym Pass allows to visit the facility up to 2 hours per day, not limiting the number of days per month.

  • At the occasion of the first visit, Gym Pass owners will receive from the reception an access code to the main entrance that can be used to access the Centre 7 days a week, 8:00 - 22:00.

  • Gym Pass owners must follow all the rules that are displayed in the changing rooms and in the gym. Including, but not limited to:

    • Using a towel on the machines/benches.

    • Cleaning the machines, benches, matts and weights after use.

    • Placing items back to where they were originally taken.

Outdoor Field Pass (monthly):

  • Available only for clients who 16 years old and above. Subscriptions for any person under the age of 18 must be endorsed by and completed by their legal guardian. The purchase of a Pass or an Access is deemed as acceptance of this charter by the legal guardian.

  • Available only for clients who are a member of a club of a World Archery national federation (including Swiss Archery) and know how to shoot archery safely.

  • It includes the use of outdoor shooting field 24/7 and the use of bathroom during reception opening hours (check the webpage contact section). As the indoor shooting hall, gym, sauna or other spaces in the facility are not included in the Outdoor Field Pass, no access code to the main entrance will be provided.

  • The outdoor shooting field might be closed for:

    • Competitions (dates listed on the webpage under Events) and preparation for events.

    • Private events (all Pass owners will be sent a notification email).

    • Cutting the grass or other maintenance activities, according to need.

  • Outdoor Field Pass owners must follow all the rules that are displayed in the outdoor shooting range. Including, but not limited to:

    • Using a single shooting line.

    • Respecting the general rhythm and flow of shooting and not holding the line to shoot more arrows alone.

    • Reporting any lost arrows to reception or in case it is closed by sending an email to info@worldarcherycentre.org.

    • Removing target faces at the end of the session

  • A future online reservation system might be applied for efficiency and space management (currently not in place).

Day-use Acess (full day or half day):

  • Available only for clients who are a member of a club of a World Archery national federation (including Swiss Archery) and know how to shoot archery safely.

  • It includes the use of the Easton Hall indoor shooting range and outdoor shooting field, bathrooms and rest area (ground floor mezzanine and in front of the restaurant space). Gym, sauna or other spaces not mentioned before are not included in the Day-use Access.

  • Full day Access owners can arrive from 9:00 and use the indoor range until 18:00

  • Half day Access owners can choose between two time slots: 9:00 - 13:30 or 13:30 - 18:00. It is not allowed to exceed these times.

  • Outdoor or indoor shooting might not be possible due to:

    • Competitions (dates listed on the webpage under Events) and preparation for events.

    • Private events (all Access owners will be sent a notification email).

    • Cutting the grass or other maintenance activities, according to need.

  • Day-use Access owners must follow all the rules that are displayed in the shooting ranges. Including, but not limited to:

    • Using a single shooting line outdoor and following safety rules during indoor shooting.

    • Respecting the general rhythm and flow of shooting and not holding the line to shoot more arrows alone.

    • Reporting any lost arrows to reception or in case it is closed emailing to info@worldarcherycentre.org.

    • Removing target faces at the end of the session.

  • Available only for archers who are at least 14 years old. Subscriptions for any person under the age of 18 must be endorsed by and completed by their legal guardian. The purchase of a Pass or an Access is deemed as acceptance of this charter by the legal guardian. Archers who are younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by a coach who assures the safety.

  • A future online reservation system might be applied for efficiency and space management (currently not in place).

Coach Day-use Access:

  • Only available for non-Swiss residents (for Swiss residents, please see Coach Membership).

  • Must hold a valid coaching licence by one of the World Archery national federations.

  • Is allowed to coach only the athlete(s) who also have Day-use Access on the same day and who belong to the same club or national team. Violation of this rule will result in immediate removal of Day-use Access and potential refusal of future Accesses or Memberships.

  • If the coach is planning to work with 3 or more archers with Day-use Access at the same time (group training), they are obliged to inform the World Archery Excellence Centre at least 24 hours in advance via an online form. The World Archery Excellence Centre coaching staff leaves the right to inform the coach if the planning of regular activities is too busy for a larger group training held by day-use coach.

  • In case of doubt of space availability, day-use coach should consult with the reception.
