Membership charter
The following charter applies to all World Archery Excellence Centre membership subscriptions. For the avoidance of doubt, the English version will be used.

Centre management reserves the right to update the charter at any time. Any update will be communicated to members. Members retaining the right to cancel their membership (without penalty) if they do not wish to comply with an update of the charter.

Membership
Membership of the World Archery Excellence Centre is open to archers who are already registered in a Swiss or foreign club, or who have completed a Start Archery course.

Purchasing a membership acts as an agreement to comply with this Membership Charter, and to comply with the operating and safety rules of the World Archery Excellence Centre, Swiss Archery and World Archery.
Members are guaranteed the following core benefits:

Free access and use of the Easton indoor archery range.*

Free access and use of the outdoor archery range.*

Free access and use of the fitness room.*

Free access and use of the sauna.*

A personal equipment locker. (Key deposit required.)

Discounted competition entries and event tickets.

Weekly supervised training sessions.

Equipment rental.

Discounted coaching services.

*Members will be informed no later than four days prior to any planned closure or within two hours of any unplanned and unavoidable closure that temporary limits access to any of the facilities, for example major competitions.

Only members who are in good standing may access and make use of the facilities at the World Archery Excellence Centre.

Joining
​
Membership is open to anyone who reaches a minimum safety standard as an archer, equivalent to completing a Start Archery course. Any new member that has not completed a Start Archery course will be assessed by Centre staff.

The Centre reserves the right to refuse or impose limits of access or (shooting) distance upon new members for safety reasons.
​
New members will receive an initiation during their first scheduled visit to the Centre. New members may only access the facilities after their initiation.

Security
​
The security of the World Archery Excellence Centre is the responsibility of all its users.
An access card may be issued to members against a deposit of CHF 50 at the end of their initiation. The card must be returned if the membership is cancelled. Lost or replacement cards are charged at 50 CHF.
​
Purchasing a membership acts as an agreement to respect the opening hours of the Centre. The access card only authorises access during these opening hours and an automatic alarm is activated outside of these periods.

Safety
​
There are specific safety rules for each space in the facility, including the Easton Hall, outdoor shooting range, fitness room, changing rooms, wellness area and sauna. These are communicated to new members during their initiation and displayed in the spaces.​
​
Free use of the indoor and outdoor facilities is left to the responsibility of the member, in compliance with safety rules.

Minors
Subscriptions for any person under the age of 18 must be endorsed by and completed by their legal guardian. The purchase of a membership is deemed as acceptance of this charter by the legal guardian.
​
Any member under the age of 18 must practise under direct supervision of a Centre coach, in scheduled training sessions run by Centre coaches, or with their legal guardian upon notification (and agreement) of the duty coach. The legal guardian may not access the shooting area unless they are also a member of the Centre.
Members under the age of 18 may not access the fitness room unless supervised by a Centre coach.​

Responsibility
​
The Centre is not responsible for any accident or injury that occurs during a member’s time using the facilities at the Centre.
​
In the event of damage to the property ir facilities of the World Archery Excellence Centre, the member must implement the necessary means for their repair or restoration.
​
The World Archery Excellence Centre is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings, valuables, money, clothing, membership cards or any other item. Liability for items left at the reception is also excluded.
​
Etiquette
​
Members are prohibited from touching other archers’ equipment.​
​
Members are prohibited from coaching (or giving advice) to other Centre users, including other members, without the prior agreement of the duty coach.
​
Members are expected to act in a respectful manner towards all users of the World Archery Excellence Centre, including staff, other members, and members of the public. Discrimination or intimidation will not be tolerated.

Image
​
Members agree for their image and likeness to be used without restriction and in perpetuity, without financial compensation, for the purposes of promoting the activities of the World Archery Excellence Centre, promoting archery and by World Archery.

Termination
​
The management of the World Archery Excellence Centre ​reserves the unrestricted right to terminate the subscription of any member deemed to be in breach of this charter, including but not limited to safety rules, with immediate effect.​
