The third kids camp of the year finished on 19 August 2022.
15 young people between the ages of eight and 12 took part in a host of archery activities, including learning the sport in a safe and fun environment, building a bow and mini competitions.
It’s a unique experience that teaches the basics of one of the world’s oldest past times – and the control, concentration, and mathematics it requires! – while entertaining kids for five full days in the holidays.
Whether they find a sport for life, our kids camp graduates love their time in the World Archery Excellence Centre.

Hannachi Yacine: “My sister has done a camp before and she really enjoyed it, so I asked my parents to sign me up for the next camp!”
“Archery strengthens my fingers and learning how to aim was fun!”
Seren Griffiths: “My favourite part was making my own bow. It was quite simple to make, but it was exciting to use the bow when I was actually shooting.”
“We will recommend this camp to all our buddies to come! As we enjoyed this activity, they will like it a lot, too!”
